iv come across a chance to get either one for maybe under $100. iv always wanted a mag because i just love them so much and for just a better gun, but the Factory F/A is a rare gun, great deal, and a peice of history. which should i get? its such a hard decision.

what do you think would be the average price of an F/A? i know they were around $450 back in the day, but are they worth more or less now?

I dont know never really looked too mutch into tbuying one, but id asume there worth more now.
Enous seems to be the Carbine freak and the F/A is like the GOD Carbine series gun so he may have a better answer Also if your looking for a gun to use heavily id probly switch that vote to the MAG as the F/A parts are on the HARDER side to find so youd probly want to use it as a ocashonal playing gun and have somthing else for the reg stuff. Were as a Mag is easy to get parts for and can esily be turned into a MUTCH newer beast. Good luck on your desishion |

ok, thanks anyway. i just PMed enos, so i hope to get some answers. i think im going to get it. its a hell of a deal, and i dont think i can ditch my 98c yet. you gave a good point, its very easy to find mags and parts now. the F/A will be a nice one-of-a-kind back up, and awsome show gun. |

well someone offered $300 for the F/A, so i said screw it, automag! so i bidded on a few on ebay, and bidded $100 for one. i was the high bidder, but reserve wasnt met. so later i noticed on my ebay that the seller offered me a second chance offer which was buy it now for $100. so in a heartbeat, i bought it and it totaled $119 with s&h. here it is! my new addition. i dont know what im going to do with the chrome. painting is too much of a hassle, so ill leave it be. |

for now i want to keep it simple. this is just my backup/secondary gun. my Tippmann is still my primary gun. im already amazed by its preformance, eventually i may get more serious and trick it out. but for a while ill let it be. what are the advantages of the x-valve anyway?
