Really just because the Pro/Carbine is a little older doesn't mean that it is junk. It's just as good as all the others. the only problem is with Tippmann, they don't support it. Great gun other than that, never breaks. Awesome

there is nothing better than the 98c because the ups are endless and it is really relyable and just because i hate the a5 cuase it is pointless to buy one they are way to expensive and the 98c does the same thing. i dont mind the a5 just because it is a tippmann and TIPPMANN KICKS @$$

i gata say a-5 but in my opinion the maodel 98 and 98c are the same exact thing except for the fact that you can costomize the 98c wothout having you model 98 sent to get costome fited with some products

Any marker can be used in a scenario, there is no rule inwhat marker a player can use in a scenario...heres an example, I jus read an article of the latest issue of APG, in the article it shows a Spyder built within a WWI Maxim machine gun replica to be used in scenario games.....it looks freakin awesome, I would love to have that on the bed of my pick up truck and do a driveby on the players on the field

A-5 guns with a faster ROF is more likely to be present in real life stuff. So A-5 would be well closer to real then a 98 c

Any marker can be used as a scenario marker. It depends on what you want to do with your scenario marker. For me, I wanted a marker that resembled the M-4 and was modular enough to get some different looks on it. I also wanted something that gave me a bit longer range like the flatline. While I don't mind doing maintainance to my marker, I did want something reliable. This is why I went with a WS-66. It is a reliable marker, I can easily modify it to different roles, and it is built like a tank when properly maintained. I also have a SIM-5 that I use for night games. It's compact, light, and has been outfitted with a tac light handgaurd for night play. This lets me have my WS-66 with its long range set up for day play at 280 fps then have my SIM-5 set up for night play with 250 fps. Really all depends on what YOU'RE looking for. |

The A-5 simply has more scenario parts avaible, pluss it is already modeled to look an mp5 stock. (front and rear sights, cocking handel, front grip, body, ect.) it also has the avialibility to not have a hopper and make ur marker look more realistic. any scenario paintball sight will show that the a-5 has many more parts such as mag kits, hand guards, stocks than the 98c does. I am not dising the 98 custome! i have seen many sick mg42 or sniper rifle mods made to a 98 to make me believe that it can be a scenario gun also, but the a-5 is just simply easier to upgrade. the only reason the pro carbine isn't in this conversation is because their aren't any scenario mods that can be bought specificly for it. Scenario kits have to be customly changed and forme to adapt to the pr carbines body. it also excepts no stocks easily. Which is a shame, because with the hand grip that the carbine has, it could be made to look like some pretty sick sniper rifle looks. But like i said its not easy. And remember the pro carbines slow bps rate, it cant be made to anything automatic. Its a permanent semi auto. but remember the a-5 was made for woods and scenario, the best example is the look of the gun stock. The 98 is a great gun, but the a-5 is just simply better for scenario.. |
