A friend on my team has a 98 with only some basic mods;Double trig, Empire Twister Barrel, and a Bullet Drop, and he kicks ass with it, considering it's such a low-end.  He's gonna sell it and buy and Imp though.  Well, the 98C with empire twister is the most consistant shot pattern i've ever seen......  It's a good rookie tourny back gun.  Also, just to help you out, don't call yourself pro cuz you can play speedball.  People will flame.  Just consider youself a speedball player.....  If you plan on going into advanced tourneys, definatly get all the firepower mods you can afford.

A 98c will do just fine for speedball. You won't need to buy a new gun for a while. Upgrades would definately be a good idea.

All it takes is "1" per Elimination. A Tippmann can shoot more then "1" ball so, then it can be used for any type of paintball.

All u need is to replace the sear spring with a dental rubberband, the madman spring set and a powerfeed on ur 98 and ull need nothing.

Good hint to if you play speedball...ONLY   get co2 nitro only helps on long shots where the ball is free flying...   *ow my face THIS TOTALS $50-$60
