New Ion is 250$ + HPH tank 120$ + Halo B E-hopper 100$
Then I suggest you buy a new barrel (recommend: Freak kit), new trigger, and, If you want, a new bolt. |

Well one thing is that most of that stuff was cheaper in the AD they displayed in the magazine....so I could sue them for false advertising?

And the reason I asked this was that my parents wont spend anymore money than how much it costs off of generalsway.com ONLY if I make good grades until the end of the school year.....so probably I will have to deal with the loader and tank problem myself....but thank you. |

Ummmm...Why would your parents not want to get it from the place that is giving them the best deal...personally I would ebay the things you and get a better deal, but thats just me And again I say, if you havn't really had alot of experience paintballing don't waste your money getting all that stuff, because you may get bored quickly and waste it all...plus having an electro gun is another expense (paint) so keep in mind that you'll probably use alot, as well as refilling your tank, so paintball is a constant expense not a 1 time 500 dollar thing, so throw some money back for that stuff |

Well i went to AV and counted all of that stuff up and it costed over 600$!!!! Plus... the ion on generalsway was 199.99 AV had it for 224.95 So I have no clue what to buy.... I should just get whats on generalsway.... then buy the tank and loader with my OWN money. |

My bad, last time I looked at ion on AV, I was sure they had been around 200-220, w/ refurbished ions going for 190 back when I got my SP-8 in the beggining of May.

Yep, SP jacked the wholesale rates up by 10%-15% Nothing has changed. I'm pretty sure they're just doing it to pay the outrageous legal fees they've racked up with their overly litigious attitude toward the rest of the industry.

I am throwing this out there on the parade of possibilities: Used freestyle: $250 (estimated cost) Estimated Total Cost: $428.00 The money saved could then be used for upgrades, depending on what is already on the freestyle when you buy it (new board -nox or predator, feedneck - CCM no-rise, etc). The Freestyle will outperform an ion hands down. |
