My A-5 is leaking air around the elbow under the tank adapter.  I remove the elbow and there is alot of some white substance in it.  I removed what I could and still have the issue.  I even installed some teflon tape hoping the extra filling would stop the leak. Please help. I really don't want to have to send the gun to Tippmann.

The white substance was dryed liquid teflon....it's good that you have teflon tape. Take the fitting all the way out and cover all the threads. Go around it about twice. make sure no tape is blocking the hole for air flow. Now make sure you put it in straight and tight. shouldn't have a leak problem any more. If it does your fitting is bad, or you could be mistaking the leak for a leak coming from your ASA due to a bad tank o-ring...look into it and let me know what you find.

I tried two layers of teflon...no change.   I called Tippmann they suggested using Loctite on the threads.  They said to use 32526 - 2760 Threadlocker Primerless/High Strength. I was unable to locate this exact product.  They are sending me some to use.  I will update this once I get the product.  Thanks for the help!!!

You probaly wernt using the tape right. If it leaks when applied correctly, Loctite wont do nothing differant. Heres the correct way to use Teflon Tape- http://model98.net/tts2.html

Got the Loctite...Works great!!! They sent me Loctite 271, not 2760. Just an FYI.

Thanks for the help!
