I screwed around with my old valve, and it shoots about 10 feet then drops, tried co2 and nitro, with the flatline and with a jj same effect. So i switched my valve with my friends extra one, I see the the valve spring is much lighter(so is this a give away that its the low pressure one?) and when i run co2 on it, it works great, but when i use nitro(xstream gives offf 820) it lobs horriably. If i buy a new stock valve and run nitro will it work fine?

HAHAHA, i wipe

If you're using a low pressure valve and feeding high pressure into it, your velocity would be horribly over 300 fps. Don't use the gun AT ALL until you can get to a chronograph. Replacing the valve with a new stock one would be a good idea to be safe, but if it isn't a LP valve you may have wasted your money. But, seeing as how there are problems with the possible LP valve, I would go ahead and buy a new one. A note to you for your future valve- make sure you keep it well oiled. A valve will only last so long when it's grinding itself away. You can oil through the ASA, or you can drop oil directly into the valve.

umm no, you got it backwards.

If you had a low pressure powertube, and you ran 800 PSI into it. It would shoot insanely fast. The LP powertube is designed to let a larger volume of air through. If you let high pressure through at a larger volume, it will blast the paintball out of thereSOOO fast, it will probly just break in the barrel.

You probly shouldn't have screwed with it.

Exactly what they said is right. Do you have an expansion chamber? A good expansion chamber will restrict the flow of HPA, and maybe Co2 gas giving off a lower pressure.

I hope you messed around with your velocity screw. Drop some oil in the valve too.

Your best off getting just a whole new valve.

the low psi valve has more material removed, for more gas to flow thru, weareas your high psi valve has much smaller groves cut into the valve body.
