Just used A5 for first time in a game.

It was actually my first game with my own gun.

I played at American Paintball Collesium (in Denver) in 3vs3 amature matchs on the scenerio field, I sucked.

But as soon as we met in the speedball field with astro turf I ruled the arena. I got my shooting style prefected, where I can shoot almost as fast as a RT but without. Keep in mind this is a stock gun.

Heres basically what went down in half an hour,

First it started out 4v4... me, some guy with a spyder, and some guy with a rental ProCarbine... vs some other guys with $200-300 guns. I went running the opposite direction as everyone else and I slid into a tall bunker sitting right beside a horizontal one. I saw another guy across the way and I rattled the trigger and ducked away, I hear "HIT AHHHMYGOD" (i hit him 2-3 times), I hear PBs hit the bunker and I go around the otherside to see whats going on, I see someone hiding behind the single base bunker, I didnt know at the time but I was the only one left on my team vs 2 others... He starts to run the opposite direction and I rattle my trigger while aiming infront of him, I hit him 3 times and he freaks out a little and calls hit. At this time I am looking for any other guys when I see him looking at me and 2 balls comming my way... I stand up and call hit as soon as I am gog'd...

Third game for me, 1v1, a guy with a $160 (i can remember what it was) gun vs me. I started on the other side. The spectators call "ONE... TWO... THREE.. GO!" and I run to the right side where a zigzag bunker area is... I slide on accident and BOOM I hit a bunker... at this time i think im screwed because he knows where I am... I find the intersection between 2 bunker-things and I crouch down where I can see through the crack while aiming my gun threw there. I see his Vloader's lights and I aim for that area, he pops out a little and I pop 2 shots... one missed and the other hit him right in the neck... I felt bad for him.

Fourth Game, 1v1 vs his friend almost same gun. This time I start on the other side. Count down, I run to the right again (which is opposite side of before), He goes where I was that last time. I see him running to it and ducking and I pop a few shots and just miss. He pops up a few times from the same place and shoots rounds toward me. All miss. I crawl around a vertical bunker and behind it I sit up, and peek around the side, aim at him and rattle my trigger... he ducks for a bit. I stop for a second and I started in again. This made him think for a second i was going to stop shooting until he raised his head, and as soon as his mask got up BAM right in the visor.

Sixth and Last Game, The guy from before and same sides. Countdown. I rush to the right and hide behind a vertical bunker. He shoots a little. I turn and aim toward his bunker and aim toward the inner side. I see him pop out so I pop a few shots toward him. I see them hit the wall/bunker "pa-pa-pa-pat" He continually just looks around that one side while shooting and eventually he runs out of ammo (i didnt know at the time). He starts running toward the exit(now I know) failing to put his hands up or anything so I shoot him about 3 times and he slips and falls and the hopper pops off of the gun.

I love my A5 now and there is nothing apart than destroying/stealing it that will take it away from me. With my shooting technique I will never need a RT. I am just going to forget that upgrade and get other important things.

Btw the stock barrel IS pretty inaccurate.

Well I didn't know exactly how fast I was shooting it... I bet it was more like 10bps... All I know is the rest of the guys on the field were like "Wow, so you got a responce on that thing?" Me: "No." Them:  "Well you shoot really fast then."

The remote didn't really get in my way because the tank is mounted on my side in my tacvest and not on my back. That way it can easily stretch over my front and I can shoot left-handed.

I am using a 16oz and it gave me around 700 shots at 255fps (believe it or not, it's true) It seems that at 255fps the powertube is blocked off enough that the gas efficientcy raises, also this allows the cyclone to continue to work until the gas is empty.

Ok I recorded my self shooting like that for 5 seconds, slowed it down and counted the shots then devided by 5. It came to 8.8bps. Thats how fast I can shoot on semi auto with single trigger.

The fastest I could do it was 9.5bps, but that took some work.

You have indeed hit upon an important fact about the A5.  Even at 255fps the A5 still hits hard and has great air efficiency, and even better it provides great accuracy if the flatline is installed.  You may want to invest in an e-grip and maybe a flatline.  The e-grip will allow you more options like the ability to fire semi-auto, bursts or full auto, depending on your situation.  I can tell you from experience that the flatline and e-grip are deadly at close range in full auto.  Keep up the good work, play hard, and have fun.

what type of rattling the trigger are you talking about?

i do alil thing that makes mine go petty fast- just insert your fore or middle finger inbetween the trig and guard w/ your nail pointing up- now slide your finger back and forth between the trig and guard- ok now faster ok now try to do it but do not hit the guard.

is this what you were doing?

it worked great for me in a 1v1( i was warned to watch out for this kids full auto)i let him do his thing then put on a show of my own w/ out response elect. or walking
