I got a stock A5 (new) a while ago and haven't had any problems before now. The only things I've added are a remote setup and a Flatline. When I went to chrono before getting on the field, my gun was only shooting at 200 FPS. I turned out the velocity screw and kept shooting, but it only went up to 210, and I noticed that it wasn't feeding (blanks about 3/5 of the time). I turned it out again, but it popped out and hit the guy next to me in the head.

I replaced the spring in the back, cleaned and oiled it 4 times, and made sure nothing was blocking the airflow. The guy at the counter (who knew what he was doing) took off the check valve on the remote and was able to get the FPS up to 240, but the leaking and feeding problems were still there. He ended up referring me to some shop near Houston.

I took my gun home and set it up this morning. I blank fired it about 50 times, and it never leaked at all. The cyclone looked like it was cycling perfectly, and it was pretty loud (louder then it was at the field). The only thing I changed was the angle of the velocity screw (it looked like it was slightly to the left). I don't think that could cause so much trouble, though.

If anyone knows what's wrong with my A5, please speak up. And yes, I do have enough air in the tank.

When you tested it at the store, did you have the remote on it?

Part of trouble shooting your own problems, is understanding the process. You remove/change one variable at a time, until you can narrow it down.

Some remotes can actually block and limit airflow. When you turn on your remote, screw in the piece all the way, and then back it off half a turn. Common problem with remotes.

Youre A5 is definitely Leaking some where, so what you have to do is locate where that Leak is at or bring your A5 to the Pro Shop and have them locate the Leak.
