First of all this is not a thread to sell something so don't pound me. My brother is selling a Tippmann Model 98 and a Spyder Fenix and we want to know what the best gun for a Mid to Front player would be. If you could tell us the name of the gun and why it would be much obligued. |

For front, my bet would be a Shocker or a DM4/5.
For Mid, E-Class Orracle Autococker. For back, Karnivor. |

Please do not ever accept advice from Skillet, as he obviously does not know what he is talking about. WHile he was correct about a shocker being a very suitable marker for a front player, I have always found the Dm5/4 to be a little tall. This will be corrected in the Dm6(which is single stack). For mid/back, it is 98% comfort factor. And an "e-class orracle autococker" went out of date last year. If price really isnt a factor, I suggest going and taking a look/holding/shooting most of the high-end electros out there. If you can go and buy w/e you want, I suggest taking a look at the Cobra G7, the PL Ego's, and the Hybrid Shocker. Because then, not only do you receive an excellent marker, resale is much higher than stockbodied versions of these. If you can hold out until November, the price of many new/used guns is going to drop drastically. WDP and Dye will also have markers out to compete with the ION. |

Well I have the Custom Pro E and he's not that interested in it. He's 19 so any gun can be reliable really.

I have seen a few (really, really) used shockers for about $300-500, but if you already have that much money, just save the rest for a new Shocker. Or there are also many good choices for a paintball gun you could buy for $500. |
