umm, one man capture the flag maybe? you cant really do much one on one. when i played one on one, we just played regular elimination

There is a game that I play and it seems to be the best with few players.  We call the game "Terminator".    One person is the terminator and all the others are against him/her.  The terminator will not become out unless they call themselves out because they can no longer take the pain from the impack of the paintballs.    All of the other players are out on the first true hit(or how many hits are to be agreed on). 
PAINTBALL, THE ONLY TRUE SPORT FOR ME!!!!!

One on one games generally tend to suck ass. There isn't much action, and usually one person is better than the other. It just isn't as fun as playing with a group. If your stuck playing one on one, just play until someone is out.

me and my dad played a game where we set our guns on opposite sides of the course we made in our back yard then we started at the same place and had to run to the bunker that our guns were at on the break

I played my dad once I stoud in the back bunker whale heran strait toward me I had to shoot him 7 times before he realized he was hit

you could do a step off. start back to back and walk about 10 or 15 steps, then turn around a shoot at each other. you could use as many paintballs as you want or you could set a limit. it is fun to watch people do this. 
NASA and the Americans spent millions of dollars and hundreds of hours to develop a pen that would write in space.....The Russians used a pencil.

have one person run and the other person chases....the runner needs to get to a designated spot without getting hit...and the runner doesnt have a gun

No offense intended, but that sounds dumb as hell. I know I wouldn't let somebody shoot at me while I was unarmed. The guy with the marker could bunker the unarmed person then just run right up and tag him without fear of getting hit himself.
