I'll be returning this year for my second OK D-Day. 82nd Easy Co. last year and again this year. All American! All The Way! Had a GREAT time last year and look for it only to be better this year. It sounds like Dewayne and his crew are making A LOT of improvements for this year and it sounds exciting.

So come on down to OK in June and help the Allies win again this year!

Now you see me..

Now you don't!

Hey whats going on here, I thought this was a D-day thread, not an Uncle Sam recruiting station. Haha I'm messing, I went axis last year and doing it again this year. I was in Panzer Recon last year, but they dissolved that unit and incoorperated with the Kommandos under Col. Flynn.
One of the Best memories was the obstacle course. It gives you a simulation of what its really like to join the Special Forces. You have to use teamwork and be a physically prepared for it. Shout out to the people who built it. http://wetworkz.com/

But allies dont have the all the fun (even though storming the beaches would be hell of alot of fun). Axis has the benefits of shooting at the people down on the beach, and pretty anywhere you'll go, you'll see action. Not all the theaters will be in play all day, so you might have to link up with another unit and defend a Firebase in another theater.

By the way, if you were there last year and haven't visited the D-day Forum. Your gonna be surprised, the field is completely different and better with hundreds of tons of concrete fixtures for the fire bases and other things they added to the field these last few months.
But if you have any questions, and wouldn't mind an axis player to answer them post or pm them.

Cowboy, if you're not afraid to take hits and be aggresive, sign up with the 1st div. You will take many hits there. I've never been there myself, but to hear the way others describe it, it's like walking into a wall of paint for the first few minutes.

Hunter, the breaks are there so they can reset the field for different segments of the game. The dinner break is to get everyone off the field so they can setup missions and re-chrono for the night portion of the game.

And Weazle, if you are referring to Thompsonshooter about the guns, they are his own. He makes and sells custom paintball guns. I especially love the .50 cal. It's a monster to play with.

How many hits are we talking?  Id like to storm the beach ( do they really storm a beach? ) I don't mind getting shot, besides the more welts, the more of em you can show your friends :D

i might go with 2 or 3 friends, but im not sure yet, if i can get off work, i got a few questions i  wonder if u can answer

1. do you have register before the game to decided what team u want on? or can u just show up and be on a team that is unfilled,

2. i read on the website that they actually take breaks during the game, how long are the breaks, i think that is kind of stupid that they do.

i cant think of any more q's atm

Man I really wanna go, it would be worth the drive from Georgia but I will be at Fort Lewis then. Oh well maybe I can make it next year. That just kinda sucks.

By the way I was looking at the website and Im totally siked on the way they have it organized and you have to train to be in special units (just like real life 'cept a little shorter of course). What is the Ranger obstacle course and sniper school like? Im just curious and would like a little info on it.
