I dont understand what the poll is for. The Flatline barrel is much better than the stock barrel. It is the only barrel to effectively add range to your shots, 100+ feet to be exact. So, to answer your question, yes it does help.

dude, all te barrels for the model and 98 custom and the A-5
are crap...but i guess if you got the money for a flatline you
should get it

The flatline adds distence.  However due to the fact it can shoot so far, the barrel will appear to be less accurate and slower.
