I've noticed something thats driving me up a freakin wall.

When someone posts something that deserves a strike or a guesting, let me or one of the other moderators know about it.....

DO NOT QUOTE THE OFFENSIVE POST

Then we have to go through and edit/delete YOUR post as well, atop the initial screw ups post.

Reb's new rule is this. Pay close attention, because I hear alot of you screaming and yelling about it the future:

If you decide to quote or copy a post made by someone who is an idiot, whatever punishment that I give to them, you get it as well. You aren't helping us by quoting the problem. Alert us and let it go. Quoting it and saying "I'm telling a mod" is annoying as hell and rather than just deleting one post, I have to go through and delete 9.

in conclusion, say it with me now, so I know that you all hear me:

"If I quote or copy an offensive post, be it picture, link, or language, I will be given the same punishment as the moron who posted it to begin with."

Got it? Good.

Thanks for your participation.

Its really annoying as anything else.

I've deleted an offensive post, then had to go and eliminate up to 4 others.

The way I'm starting to see it, is if you're quoting it, you've posted it, and are guilty.

I am tired of scrolling for a half an hour to reach the bottom of the page. As I see them I will edit them out. Please do not PM me for an explaination. This is it.

This has forever been a rule so done whine too much about it.

As a general rule, a sig should be less than 150 pixels high and 350 pixels wide. 50k should be considered a "hard cap" for signature file size. Of course, the smaller the file size the better. Please try and adhere to this standard. Thanks! (Rock Slide)

I would like to add that the same goes with your Avatar. Your Avatar shouldn't be over 15, to 20k. So if you have an animated Avatar, check it for size because we will be checking it. About 20% of our members still have dial up connections and large signatures or avatars will really slow down their load time. If you need to check the size, right click your mouse on your signature or avatar and then select Properties and it will tell you the size.<!-- Signature

Thank You For Your Cooperation!

Unless they are insanely huge, I will not be issuing a strike, just replacing offending sigs/avatars with possibly a humorous one.

CEASE AND DESIST NOW.

From this point on, the strikes and deactivations WILL commence.

This includes sexually suggestive signatures, BTW.

Save yourselves the trouble now and CLEAN UP YOUR ACTS.

This is the one and ONLY warning that wil be given

For the avoidance of any doubt:

Using "Gay", "homo" or any form thereof as an insult or in a derogatory fashion is NOT acceptable.

If you want to political issues related to sexuality, that is one thing (within other forum guidelines), but using these terms as insults is absolutely not permitted.

I am going to crack skulls when I see sexual slurs of this nature.

Final time I go through this, gang, so get it through your skulls.

I do not tolerate disrespect and harassment of other members of this forum.

You don't have to like it, you can cry, moan, complain and throw tantrums all you like.

As long as I am around, this is the law so far as I am concerned.

Think I am joking?

Try me.

I have tried to be nice about it, but some of you just don't seem to get the point.

Noone deserves to be treated in the manner I have seen some people treated here. Certain persons have been constantly harassed and tormented for months despite my previous warnings.

Cease and desist or be gone.

If you don't like someone, settle it through PM's, get a Mod involved or just leave them alone.
