Ok well I have a Ion and I have a chance to trade it plus $175 for a
red Emag with ULE body and the newest software. I have never shot an
Emag before so I need your opinion.
Trade Or keep ion Or on a totally different note I could sell the Ion, buy a 03 matte black cocker and save for upgrades over a long period of time. Edited by ztbisme |

Oh, I like your other idea. I am a huge fan and previous owner of an 03 vf cocker. I'd say keep it and up it over time.

The emag is 10x better than the ion. Trade it. The Emag is faster, and
while it doesn't have eyes, it has level 10, which, IMO, is
better.

ummm...actualy if all on how he likes it....i mean hes not gona be able to shoot past 17bps anyways soooooo who cares......mag are a tad bit of an air hog(i have one)...they dont have many performence upgrade that doesnt cost you 200+....they are good reliable marker that will not chop paint (lvl 10 bolt)......the e-mags are the best mag out there *opion*......i say if you like your ion keep it if not get the mag....if you dont like it there are tons of people on automags.org that will buy it.

Without a doubt get the Emag, trust me I have shot one. Dont even bother with a cocker the Emag beats it in every category except for effinciency, definately trade the ion for the Emag!

You could always trade for the emag, sell it for more. Take the money
and buy the autococker, and have alittle extra for upgrades.

ok now why is the e-mag better then an ion...i have a mag...i dont hate make i love mine but give him reason why....now this is my list....
mag(not e-mag)cons- only get 600 shot out of a 68 3k tank upgrade are alot of cash and not every proshop carries them in my hyperframe you can not adjust the tirgger pull if you want somthing done on it most likly have to send it away(seeing you are new to them) pros- reliable doesnt break balls(lvl 10 bolt) same size as a ion( dont know about e-mag) can shoot fast... easy to take care of
ion pros- break beams eyes- no chop 17bps cap trigger adjustable light not bad on air cheaper cons people claim the wiring bad the internals are not that great we truly dont know how reliable they are yet...

If you keep your ion get a better reg, like a karni reg.
BTW that efficiency that you get out of your regular mag isn't that bad... ideally you'd get 680 shots out of it. |
