I was wondering why noone makes aftermarket recievers for like 98 customs and A-5s. Im guessing it has something to do with copyright law though...

Someone with a mill should make new recievers that look/function better. Weight could also be reduced by not putting in unneccisary metal, and by using a lighter-weight metal.

A main reason to do this would be to get a better milsim look.

It costs companys less to just make a kit to fit over the gun, rather than replace the gun.

Think of all those parts connected inside the recievers. And as monk said, it is cheaper.

And that is why it is $300

Personaly Id like to see a (Heavy chain feed machine paint gun) maybe feed by a over sized Q-loader

Or for the civil war buffs a long barrled single shot musket that loads from the muzzle. now that would not be hard to make

1 paintball gun package=$150
1 case of paint=$50
air & entry fee=$15
lighting up newbies all day long= Priceless
