my summer project this year will be making removable sp8 (xm8)pieces for my 98 custom using wood. the reason im making and not buying it is because i dont wanna spend a bunch of money. heres a link http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/images /xm8-poster.jpg im gonna make the attachements for the xm8 compact carbine, sharpshooter variant and the automatic rifle. the parts that are black im gonna leave black and the rest im gonna camo it. and ill probably camo the gun like this but in black, olive and brown http://www.tippmann.com/forum/wwf77a/forum_posts.asp?TID=146 002&KW=snake+skin

Wood? Just buy an airsoft gun, and hollow it out easier, faster, most likely better, and cheaper in the long run. though it's be cool to see you do the machine gun variant. |

ya thanks. the only thing is that i cant start it for a month or so cause im applying for a job then id need to wait to get paid to get wood and other gadgets

I hope you like it, but fyi, the XM-8 assult rifle project was cancelled back in 2005. So it is very unlikely to see it in widespread use.
