I'm actually thinking about buying another Alpha Black and getting either RAP4's Vietnam M-16 kit or their M16A2 kit......Hell....They really are kicking in strong to the "Tippy world"...Nice stuff......

You laughed over different barrel kits? I'm assuming you meant "hemmed and hawed." |

i used a 16" barrel before too but didn't like it.. it pretty much became a waste of air.. it ended up making my ball travel distance shorter. From the research i've done.. anything over 14" becomes a waste of air. |

most people swear by the 14" rule but I dunno enough people seem to have 16"'s that it can't make that much difference

it also depends on the type of barel as well.. when the porting begins, and the length of the porting.. but in personal experience.. my 16" was only on my gun for 1 game and its never been on since. went back to the stock 11" barrel until i got my 14" J&J Ceramic barrel.. not i'm in love with that thing.. so quiet and accurate |

I was going in the direction of an animal similiar to a horse, or a really lame Buck Owens reference. |

LM*AO!........ Ok ya... (Mack) I "hemmed" but NOW I'm "Hee'in!"...LOL I used to watch that show (Dating myself now.....Wasn't Goldie Hawn on there as well?)..........I'm no spring chicken to be sure :) .....And as far as range goes... TRUE...True enough.... I've merely shot with the new barrel 70-80ish feet in my back yard. I'll go out with both barrels this weekend and give yas a comparison in drop past 100 ft or so. One thing I CAN say and I don't like it (many do) is that this barrel is VERY quiet..... the stock 11" has a pronounced sound... At any rate, aesthetically, this thing is awesome... If you like quiet? AWESOME! Looks, AWESOME!!! ...as for range due to lenght? I'll get back to this forum... HEEEHAWWW :)))) |

Goldie Hawn was on Rowen and Martin's Laugh In. (Now I'm dating myself.) Keep in mind when your comparing ranges that you will probably need to rechronograph once you change barrels.

Nada. I've seen some custom ones for A5's and 98's, but no drop in kits. |

Assuming you are talking about a "charging handle" style cocking lever? If so....standby about a week and I will have a walkthrough up! Just got my AB, and the Dremmel is earning her keep! |
