I'm weak, okay! Is that what you wanted me to say!? Anyway, I'm still on the hunt for "my" semi. I'll buy and sell until I find it. Now I'm giving this one a try. And yeah, it's "some sort of autococker."

Happened once with a Rainmaker. Still have that pump Rainmaker, and I'm building a semi as well. Hooray me? Anyway, I should give a history on this thing. The Sandridge Force 5 'cocker was THE first electro 'cocker made. It mostly used off-the-shelf parts crammed onto the front block and an Angel LCD frame. On the ram are Hall-effect sensors that detect the position of the ram. What does this mean? It means it times itself every shot . The sucker will fire as fast as you can feed it, and I'm curious to see just how fast that is. The original Force 5's (or F-5's) had a funky looking box that mounted to the frame. All the electronics were held inside this box. Mine is a later model, where they crammed all the electronics into the frame. They called this model the Force 5 Tiny Tornado (or TTF-5). I can't wait to actually play with this thing! And I'm quite curious about the body. I haven't seen one like it before. Pre 2K, no detent, threaded vertical feed; it's all-around unique. I've been interested in cockers for a few weeks now, and
I just sent in the funds for my first, a 1999. I think I will convert it to pump and play pump with it, but I might try the semi first to see what it's like. The only thing that gets me about cockers is the front block. It kills me how disorganized and cluttered it seems, your's especially. Though it doesn't stray far from simple I just wish it was cleaner and didn't seem to be poking out of the gun so far. |

Ooooh, that's what I love about 'cockers! The steam-engine slapped on to the front is awesome! That, and I've got a fever and the only cure is more backblock! Edit: On that note, I do have plans to organize the front block a little better on this thing. Maybe have a bracket made if needed. Edited by DeTrevni - 19 December 2008 at 12:37am |

DIE UNBELIEVER! anyway, Its an acquired taste for the look of the pneumatics for most people. I was seemingly born to like the look of it as was Detrevni as well as to how they work and how amazingly smooth they can. Good Luck with yours, if you have any questions you know who to ask. Detrevni: There was no doubt in my mind when i saw it that it was a Sandridge. Sinister with his ? . hah! Its beautiful man. When I get my latest generation "high end" marker like i want, im gonna go back to buying a cocker every few months or so, hold on to this ;) Edit: Also t-hop.. most other cockers have "clean" looking pneumatics, its just the way this particular one works that causes it to look unorganized. Edit 2: I just remembered the Centerflag Hyper Framed cocker that i passed up at the local shop. It was a Purple/Blue Fade 2002 STO. GORGEOUSSSS! had no money for it at the time though =( Edited by ctchofday - 19 December 2008 at 2:56am |

CTC: They put a 'mag frame on a 'cocker??? I'm jackin' with ya. The 'cocker version of the Centerflag Hyperframe was called the Uprising. I almost had a 20 BPS version, but <poopy> USPS lost it in the mail. Kinda. What really happened was the seller decided to put a 3D object into a document envelope to cut on shipping or some crap. The sorting machines tore it to pieces... Kuri: I'll be able to tell ya when it gets here . Kinda looks like one, but I think the old Jackhammers were cylindrical. yes, you still need a detent for a pump, other wise you will get more than one ball in breech. |

You still don't understand how detents work after your recent thread in the marker gallery? |
