well when you say trip wires are you talking about just rope or we talking good wires. And why would you want to have a knife if your as good as you say wait for the enemy to pass sneak up and barrel tag them I think it would work just as well.

iv seen games that allowed you to use a kind of fake knife they would use to train with on how to defend ones self. but most iv seen people bring an old busted barrel off one of there old markers and use that. it all depends on if you want to spend money or just cannibalize an old maker that's just collecting dust.

If you're going to go the marker route, make sure it's Crayola. They're washable. No use in ruining anyone's clothes.
