Decay of Nations 7
"The Light Ages"

When: September 20-22
Where: SC Village, Chino, CA

This is a new age. The United Nations of America or UNA has crumbled under the weight of war and decay. The last visages were washed away in the last attempt to overthrow the Corporate Empire of Ekron.

With the tragic fall of the UNA, Ekron's sudden and “costly” triumph of the last great war has decimated the nations of the world's financial stature. In an effort to regain financial stability amongst the nations, the global debt has been consolidated into a newly-formed world-wide bank system called The One World Bank, led by Ekron's former Chief Executive Officer, Tom Cole. In his new role as Supreme Commander of The One World Force, a new quest to resurrect the nations by targeting the Earth's resources for global financial stability have begun.

As the global mining and extraction of principle minerals and resources were underway, Earth's condition began to rot away forcing a small rebellion of a unified front. Secretly financed by the Papel State, 2 underground rebellion leaders, Greg Hastings & Mike Paxson, have obtained vital information that has emerged the duo from the rubble as leaders of the Environmental Defense Militia in a desperate attempt to thwart The One World Bank's and save the Earth from a catastrophic deterioration.

Now, a new battle is ready to envelop the world once more. Will you side with the One World Force from The One World Bank, and its principles of control to help the human race to survive; or with the Environmental Defense Militia's quest to save our planet from decay? Only you can decide the fate of the world!

The largest paintball mega event is back, bigger, and better than ever before with DECAY of NATIONS 7: Light Years at the World Famous SC Village in Chino, CA on September 21st and 22nd. The event will span over the entire facility of 100 acres of paintball excitement all weekend long. The event boasts a multitude of special side events, a Vendor Village with all your favorite vendors and manufacturers, incredible prize packages, overnight parking and camping and our spectacular 24 hour scenario game!

General #1 for the One World Force:

Tom Cole, the most recognizable person in the paintball industry will be making a huge appearance as Supreme Commander at Decay of Nations in SC Village. The owners of SC Village, Dennis Bukowski and Giovanni D’Egidio have done it yet again as they have recruited 3 incredible paintball legends to command the 24-hour paintball scenario. Tom Cole will be leading the charge for the One World Force on his own against the dual forces of Greg Hastings and Mike Paxson commanding the Environmental Defense Militia.

He is an old school professional player with great skills that will lead him to victory at Decay of Nations.

Decay of Nations 7 begun as the United Nations of America (UNA) has crumbled under the weight of war and decay. The last visages were washed away in the last attempt to overthrow the Corporate Empire of Ekron.

Cole has made a vast name for himself in the paintball industry when he started playing paintball at the age of 17 then formed his own paintball team, Bad Company that ranked in the top five in the pro-division of the NPL in 1993.

Cole became a well-respected icon in the paintball industry as president and commissioner of the NPPL, which he later resigned to take the role as General Manager of Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP). Prior to joining the NPPL staff, Cole had played professionally with Bad Company then became the NPPL President from 1993 to 2001.

 

General #2 for the One World Force:

Andre “WOLF” Critchlow, Canadian tactical paintball ambassador, writer, and YouTube personality, will be a General for ONE WORLD FORCE at Decay of Nations 7.

For those of you in the Southern California area that are in a scenario team, Gio D'Egidio, co-owner of Giant Sportz, has posted this on his Facebook page:

Hello everyone!

I would like to invite scenario team captains and/or their representatives to the scenario teams meeting at Hollywood Sports Park next Saturday, August 10 at 10am. We would be talking about what stuff we are doing leading up to Decay next month and would also like your input as well.

If you or your team are down to help us, we will have our final scenario teams round table meeting Monday, Aug 19th @6:00pm at HSP.


Wanted: Advanced scenario players to be XO’s OR Cardinals for Decay of Nations.


Description for the role of the XO.

Their responsibility will include the following: To assist their Generals in whatever capacity, such as giving out missions, leading missions, motivating players in a positive manner, helping out with role playing, mentoring new players in the way of scenario paintball and clarifying rules.

Note: cannot sign off on missions and cannot be a Cardinal.


Description for the role of the Cardinal.

Cardinals are essentially on field “Player Refs.” In that capacity, the Cardinal must know Giant Scenario rules, will do paint checks on both sides and sign off on mission cards on both sides. Must be stand up, honorable players that are willing to put the integrity of the game above all else.

Note: Cannot be an XO.

Decay of Nations is coming up in 2 weeks and the weather forecast for Decay looks like it will be hot (the trend in weather in Chino, CA appears to be in the 90s at least!).  

Due to the fact that the conditions at SC Village, will be unbearable to intolerable due to the heat, players MUST prepare ahead of time to prevent dehydration, which if left untreated will lead into more serious problems and conditions.  While SC Village and their staff do their best to accommodate players, it is up to the players to be knowledgeable and  be aware of what their body can and cannot do and to prepare ahead of time. 

I have posted the following YouTube videos that I have found for information on hydration and dehydration prevention and I hope that this information can be passed on to others.
