New to the forum, not sure if this is the right area to post this...

Anyways, I recently bought a used Tippmann Project Salvo and I'm having some issues. The previous owner stated it had an e-trigger. But there is no selector. So that clued me off that it did NOT have an e-trigger. And upon firing the weapon I noticed it fired in different modes depending on how you pull the trigger... Odd, right? So I decided to open it up and see what was on the inside. I'm fairly new to paintball and weapons, but I have a rather good understanding of what's going on on the inside.

I opened up the frame and took a look inside. I couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. Everything was normal (same as stock). (It's equipped with a cyclone feeder by the way.) So I was rather perturbed by the fact that everything looked the same as stock. So I watched a few videos on youtube to see if everything was in place how it should be and it is. So I'm confused as to why it was firing full/burst/semi depending on my trigger pull.

Anyways, I put the rifle back together and now it will not fire. I've checked it multiple times and everything is in place. Upon further inspection it seems as though when I pull the trigger it's not pushing the sear down enough to release the bolt. The springs are in good condition (not bent and provide enough pressure on the parts). So I'm at a complete loss as to how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Right now the rifle is at a friends house and his buddy is going to look at it and see if he can do anything about it. I'll post pictures if need-be sometime tomorrow if I get the rifle back and it's not fixed.

So, what are your thoughts guys? Any ideas?

The Salvo wouldn't have a selector switch with or without an e-trigger.  When you opened it up did have a battery & electronic board?  If not it's not a e-trigger marker.  Maybe it has a Response Trigger Kit, this would give you different shot characteristics depending on trigger pull.  Let us know.

I did a little more research since I posted. And I've determined it's a response trigger kit. Below are some pics of the rifle. I finally got it to fire, but it's full auto now and i have to pull the bolt back to make it stop. The cyclone feeder system doesn't rotate at the pull of the trigger like it used to. And in order to make it fire I have to push the trigger "up" and pull it. I can't just simply pull the trigger and fire it.

If your marker slips to full-auto with one trigger pull then your rear bolt & sear are most likely bad.  You'll need to replace them.  As far as the trigger issue you may want to contact our service department at 800 533-4831.  Thanks.
