98 custom pro e grip problems

   I just got this marker(used) and when I got it it worked fine. I tried to change the firing mode from full auto to anything( something like a psp mode) and want not able to even with the instructions. Now whenever I turn the marker on It flashes red and orange, but after that it turns solid red or some times it goes into option select mode(the dwell and that kinds of settings). Does anyone know a way to get the board out of this? or should I just get a new board(aftermarket or not).
