I have ordered 2 Alpha Black Elite markers with E-grip.
Is it possible to fire in any of the full automatic modes with the standard hopper?
If not is the Cyclone hopper the only other option?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forums. If you want to use full auto on a standard gravity fed hopper, you will probably chop paint as it won't feed it fast enough.  You can get the cyclone which is a great upgrade or an electric hopper; I'd personally go with the cyclone.

Cyclones are nice because the run off the exhaust gas from the valve when firing. No batteries to replace, etc.

Electronic hoppers are nice because they'll work with ANY paintball marker regardless of the manufacturer.

Both have benefits and drawbacks. I personally run electronic hoppers even on my Tippmann markers.

As JohnnyCanuck said, you can run full auto without an electronic or cyclone hopper system, but you'll have a bad day with it since gravity won't be able to keep up with the cycle rate and you'll chop paint.

I would get the cyclone feeder because it doesn't need batteries, but if you really want to save a few dollars you can get a cheap electric loader instead.
