How to Search (Searching the Forum 101)

   Ok since so many people are having difficulties on finding what they need in a search here is a rundown of the forums search features.
Here is a breakdown by FIELD:
Search For:

This is where you type in what you are looking for

All words will search for each word entered and return results with ALL of those words in the topic title, user name, or message body as specified later. Example: "bubble gum" would return results with "bubble" AND "gum" and only when they are present together in the same topic title, user name, or message body.

Any Words will return results with ANY ONE of the words, say if you searched for "bubble gum" it will return results with either "bubble" or "gum" in the topic title, user name or message body as specified later. Or anything that contains BOTH words.

Phrase will return just that... any given typed phrase, it will rely on the fact that you know exactly what the phrase was.
Search In:

Topic Subject - This will ONLY search for the words you specified in the Topic of the subject, it will NOT search the message body. This will return probably the most minimal results when searching, as it does rely that you type things properly as they were entered when the topic was started.

Message Body - This will ONLY search for the words you specified in the MESSAGE BODY of the topics which have been started. This will return THE MOST results and is most beneficial if you are unsure of exactly what you are looking for, or if you think your spelling may be off.

Username - Please be advised for SEARCH TEXT you MUST enter a USERNAME in order for this one to be successful. When you enter a name it will return ALL posts where THAT user name has been posting messages.
Search Forum:

This is where many people fail... This option will allow you to limit which forum section you are searching in. A lot of people if they are browsing a specific forum section will not realize they are only searching in the "New Player Forum". Hence the reason that not many results were returned. So what you do is SELECT ALL FORUMS, which will help you on your searching adventures.
Sort Results By:

Last Post Time - This will sort your results by which one was the most current to the one that was the oldest. Newest to Oldest that is.

Topic Start Date - This will sort your results by which topic was started FIRST which means the OLDEST topic will be shown first.

Subject Alphabetically - This will obviously sort your results in A-Z (alphabetical) format.

Number of Views - This will sort your results with the HIGHEST number of VIEWS FIRST, and lowest obviously last.

Now with all that said, a few searching tips:

Use more words and search for ALL WORDS, that will maximize your results 
Make sure you filter your results, if you knew that a post happened recently sort it by last post date so you may better find it. 
Do not be afraid to try different search types. 
Make sure you understand what you are searching for and not enter miscellaneous information which may not even be a part of your search criterion. 
Please do not expect this search engine on the forum to be as robust with such features as imbedded searching using parenthesis, stem searches, multiple logic searches, or the like. 
KISS - KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID
I hope this helps some of you, and elminates some of the NUMEROUS multiple posts that are scattered throughout the forums.
