tonight I was looking at my e-99 avant, i took the grip frame off to show my firend somthing, at that point i tought to my slef: " the spyder frame has a sear, and the m98c has a sear", so it would be possible to put a spyder grip frame on a 98c, i have some old reciever halves from a bad paint job, and im gana try to atempt this soon

ive seen it done once, i was goin to buy a new 98c and try it , but never got around to it, i was just goin to cutt all of the grip off the 98 and put the eletro frame on. the only hard part would be to bolt the frame on. the gun i seen before had a ziptie holdin the frame on.lol

You don't even need to swap frames. Just mount the electronics inside the m98 grip. Mount the solenoid so that it will trip the sear when activated and mount the microswitch behind the trigger. You'll also have to modify the m98 sear so that it doesn't get tripped by the trigger, only by the noid.

thats a good idea but, #1 I use my spyder more often and #2 the parts may not fit in the m98c grip, but by use one grip for both i could do a fast change between the 2, that way if somthing goes wrong wit my spyder i just pop off the frame and put in on the 98c Edited by 98c - baller |
