Or actually buy a nice gun.... How much are you looking to spend? New or used? HPA or no HPA? We need some more info. |

Well, we still need to know how much you are looking to spend. And if you are willing to buy new or used. And HPA is High Pressure Air, otherwise known as "nitrogen" by some people. If you're still confused, its simple, tank costs way more, but is way better. |

You can buy a steel HPA tank used for about the same price as a new 20oz tank. We need to know what you want to spend. |

Ion.its low pressure but buy a hpa tank and turn it down to low so you dont expodee the solenoid.if you go to like a pro shop theyll talk to you about the hole set up

ICD Promaster or Freestyle, they perform better than Ions, and the solenoids bleed to help prevent blowing you solenoid. Metal contruction, better board, adjustable trigger, the solenoid is protected from external damage while the ions solenoid is exposed, etc.
You dont buy an HPA tank and turn it down to "low" for an Ion. You buy an HPA tank, and then the regulator that comes on the gun adjusts it to the correct operating pressure. When airing up an ion for the 1st time you should turn the regulator all the way down so you don't blow the solenoid. |

Who ever said buy and A-5 or trick out the 98c, don't listen to them. Unless you are doing a super-project on the 98c than don't upgrade it. A new barrel would do just fine. And don't buy an A-5, its just a hole in which you throw money into. It has no bang for the buck.
If you are looking to spend $300-400, I say buy an HPA tank and a hopper. They will cost between $150-$200. Maybe $100 if you buy used. So thats about $200 for the marker. I would go for a Lasoya Promaster, but if you go used possibilities are endless. You can find great 'cockers, timmies, and LCDs. And how do you feel about pump...
