i have the custom proE and it will not stay cocked. i got a new spring thinking i put the wrong one in because i lost mine then found one and put it in, that didnt fix it. me and my friend tend to shoot it just making it click and hit the back bolt and it is getting a flat angle on the back i dont know if it was already like that. so i thought maybe the sear is getting flat from doing that would this be the problem? i took it outside to try to manually bend the sear but failed miserably. all i did was make it slip out of the vice grip and fall back.

You lost me at  "i have the custon proE . . ."

Rephrase it please, I cant tell if your gun is uncocking due to a leak or because something wont let the bolt reset.

you can't bend a sear......

Look at the ledge where the sear rests on the bolt and see if its angled or flat.

Look at the back edge of the sear, is it shiny? Then its worn. You should always have spare sears.

call tippmann and get a new sear. If the problem persists, file your bolt.

perhaps the spring you replaced the sear spring(if thats what you replaced) is limiting homw far it can be pushed up therefore it cannot catch.

thanks the guy for the fileing idea. i ordered a new rear bolt and sear to hopefully fix the problem. but i figure out how i could get it to work until i get the new stuff. i figured that if i "chisel" part of the bolt and the part of the sear that rests on the metal rod that hits it to uncock i could make the sear go higher to hold the gun cocked. after an hour or more of carefully grinding the the air grinder and reassembling the gun like 4 times i freaked out and went crazy grinding till it was completely flat(you should of seen how i acted it was great) i finally fixed it. dont be afriad to use some brute force on your guns.
