My Halo 1 Paintball Assault Rifle
I cut off my carrying handle off of my Alpha Black.
used stock barrel. Took off shroud, stock and magazine.
I might go a run of a better quality in the future.
It features a working flashlight and ammo counter too :D

So exactly what material did you use to make the Halo shroud? I"m not going to lie, it looks a little ghetto tastic.

Being honest, it does looka bit ghetto I agree. But it's a darn pretty good job of replicating it. Thumbs up man. One you touch up the quality it'll be even better than it is.

Equipment:

You patent an INVENTION. Making a thing look like a piece of copyrighted artwork from a video game is not an invention.

looks good.  As far as what the patent is for i think he meant the ammo counter... not the shroud.

woah, thanks guys!
I made this shroud just for fun, and it wasn't supposed to be a "working" or look "pretty" model yet. :P
It's made out of 110 lb cardstock, fiberglass resin and fiberglass cloth. The grip and stock are completely rock hard.
I cut up some blueprints for the exact same thing but except out of metal sheets. I guess I will update alittle later when I'm almost done.
The Alpha Black broke so I don't really have a gun to use anymore. I think I'm going to use a 98 custom, I'm going for more "cool looks" than functionality, this will be my backup gun. I use my Phenom as my primary.
I'm also going to make a paintball version of an ODST trooper for a paintball big game costume contest, hopfully with the gun finished.

thanks for the comments and interest guys :)

That's pretty awesome. You can probably get a remote line system so you won't be able to see the air hose and it would look more authentic for when you're going for that.
