The theoretical individual I was making fun of (who used to me ME incidentally [minus the fat part]) DIDNT know that he was doing. Hence the joke.

To rip on people because they have talons is purely condescending to the players who can't afford much else. or whoa ren't big into the sport yet, and such an opinion frankly ought to be beneath you- I've always had respect for you here, but that kind of sentiment is just juvenile. Again, you took what I meant to be a light hearted comment and turned it into a civil case. Try mellowing out a tad, its good for your blood pressure. My aim was not to be condescending, it was to make a funny. You've never cracked a smile at the antics of a new player who made a goofy mistake before setting them straight or lending a helping hand? I'll never hesitate to help a new player out. That's not to say I won't get a whimsical giggle out of them from time to time, I AM human after all, I'm sorry I can't match up to the android perfection that you've got.

And to match your sarcasm, no, I'm not trained to place a rifle round in your head at 800m. My service rifle only fires 5.56, and thus is only effective in the hands of a good shot (which I consider myself) out to about 500m or so. And we're trained to always aim center of visible mass, which is generally the torso. I'd suggest that were you and some friends to come out against me and a few of my trained buddies on an even field we'd show you a defense that your fire and manoever would be VERY hard pressed to trump. I've got a lot of respect for a properly trained group of people who know how to set up a good field of defense utilizing interlocking fields of fire, shooting lanes, etc. I still maintain that one SOLITARY soldier, paintballer, carpenter ant, whatever, CANNOT, with any defensive position prevent himself from being flanked, overrun, or surpressed by two or three enemy who are constantly moving. But you're the one with the training, not me, so your challenge wouldn't be even remotely fair. (Though probably a LOT of fun in all seriousness, I love playing against guys with formal training, it helps me sharpen my own skills)

Sorry, forget it. I've had a couple rough days studying for exams. My apologies for getting short with you.

Studying for psychology and sociology sucks...

Yay! There is peace again! Now we can get back to the original topic! W00T!

Actually, even if the dude sucked with it, it would still be cool to see someone out there with a marker setup like that. It would be a true example of scenario paintball player ingenuity. Or, maybe it was just an outcome of boredom and too much Halo 2 playing, but whatever the reason, it would still be cool...

And yes, college finals suck. At least I aced my Calculus final...

My first year Sociology prof is a criminologist by profession, soroughly ahlf my intro Soci class was about theoretical approaches to deviance. There're much more in depth courses in second and third year. My degree is criminology, so I like the deviance focus... It'll be helpful later.

Because you touch yourself at night. :D

I'm sorry. Rarely have I had such a great setup for that particular one.

It's "fetal" position.  Although, I have to admit "feeble" position is pretty funny, and to a certain degree, also very accurate.

To those who called this stupid, keep in mind that most people who come up with brilliant ideas have their share of really bad ones first.  For instance the same basic technology and ideas could be utilized to develop either a vehicle mounted marker system or a stationary defensive system for scenario games.

Anyway, I think it's creative, interesting, and, while it may be childish to say so, very cool.
