alright check this i called army-navy about my tippman 98 because i cant get the gas line out of the power tube i tried teh crescent wrench but the tech dude (hate em cuzz he replaced Jeff the sweetest tech who hooked me up with free parts such as spare lines and macro fittings) but ne wayz he said tha tit was lock tight and it would cost me 16 dollars if i didnt buy it form them help me out form wasting 16 dollars pleeze thiz iz wat us fellow players r 4 lol well if u have the same prob and noe how 2 get it out or sumtin pleeze respond, y the way i want the gas line out so i can pu ta macro along with my drop hehe

take the powertube out of the body, put it in a paded vise (lightly tightened, and unscrew with the appropriate wrench. you can add a little heat to make it easier, but dont melt the tube or orings.

Sheesh...such an easy thing to do and you dont even have to use a vice to accomplish it...as said by triggerhappy1, take the power tube out and use an adjustable wrench...without the use of a table top vice clamp, adjust the wrench around the flat sides of the line fitting going into the tube, hold tightly...now, take your other hand and turn the tube counter clock wise to remove the line from the tube...its really that simple and it doesnt take that much force to turn it....to place the new line or tube back into place, use teflon tape (seals better and less messy than loctite) on the 2nd thread of the hose and turn clock wise and be sure to not over tighten, I use the same technique after replacing the steel braided hose on my 98c and there are no leaks.
