How do you remove the receiver nuts from the right side of the receiver(M98)??? The ones on my 98 platinum seem to be stuck in the receiver, and I can't think of a good way to remove them without damaging the finish on the gun or the nuts. Any suggestions are appreciated

Repainting? Better to leave them in, and plug the threads. If you HAVE to remove them, put a spare screw into the threads, and tap it out with a small hammer. Make sure to rest the receiver on something soft.

Im actually installing the AK kit, and the nuts have to be removed(from what I can see). I tried tapping them out, but these things are stuck in there good.

I think they may be bonded in with some sort of adhesive. Mine came out on my old M98 after I used stripper to take the coating off. |
