Weight and barrel length aren't an issue fellas... these are meant to be vehicle mounted (M2 50cal) for convoy training.

Nice work Thompson! Hope the purchasing agent didn't try to pay you with a MIPR this time!!!

How did the army contact you?

i was watching Made in America and they were doin something with the indestructible flashlights and they said there first order was from the army and a guy dressed in black showed up and gave them 20,000 dollars in a paper bag.

i'm sure they just called but ya never know.

$20K in cash in a paper bag? Forgive me if I don't believe a word of that.

Gubmint doesn't pay in cash, let alone up front. Lots of paperwork, and waiting (as ThompsonShooter will attest to) to get an electronic funds transfer. I don't even think they do paper checks anymore. Credit cards, if under $2500 per transaction, yes. Definitely not cash.

It's also my guess that Thompson contacted the Army with a proposal, rather than the Army contacting him?
