Ok im looking for a speedball gun, both of them would have a egg2 and a nitro tank, so dont worrry about that, so i need your help on this

What is better in

Accuracy     Speed     Durability     How good is it stock?

and do both operate at low pressure and my proshop says that b2k4s break really easy and they wont carry them, are they a stable gun?

ok so i have talked to ppl that owned the b2k4 and said it was the best bang for your buck even more so then the ion. Only problems i have heard are hearsay(mainly ion owners) saying that someone they know had problems. b2k4 is more unique unlike the mass ions you will see. and yes it runs lp

For the Ion you are going to wana get a HP tank. And I believe this is the same for the B2K4 (not realy sure though). Both guns are great for there price. The Ion is smaller and more compact than the B2K4, so if you want a small gun then get the Ion. From what I heard the B2K4 is a fairly stable gun. You will here that the B2K4 breaks easily, but people say that about all guns. If it were my choice I would get the Ion only because it's newer and there are gonna be tons more upgrades for it coming out.

I actually have a B2k4 and i love it already.  i have never played with it because it was recently bought.  Yes, you can run LP on it.  I would say that Ion might beat it in durability, but when you are on a tippmann forum nothing compares to the durability of a Tippmann, but anyways, i love the B2K4 its has awesome capabilities.  It is one of the best bang for your buck guns.  It is very easy to mess with also.  Very simple trigger adjustment, very easy to replace 9-volts, easy nitrogen set-up, its a very good gun. I mean it took me like 10 seconds to put a 9-volt in and turn my trigger pull to what i want.  Thats why i say it is definately better than ion stock.  I guarentee that you could match an ion accuracy and speed when it is stock.

I have a b2k4, love it, hasn't broken down on me yet, when I go to my field, I see people with ions with all sorts of problems, it's pretty funny to watch.  When it's stock, it has no firing modes, that's sort of the only negative that I can think of.  Get one and show your proshop that they are great guns.

Accuracy - accurate like any gun, as long as you have good consistancy, and good paint that goes well with your barrel.

Speed - As fast as you can pull the trigger, the stock trigger is great, and a lot better than an ion trigger (which is plastic and sloppy).

Durability - It's easy to fix, and should work if you drop it, the only problems some people can have is the wiring, just be very careful when taking your gun apart so you don't pinch the wiring or rip anything out, I havne't had any problems so far and I've taken everything apart.

Stock wise, I'd have to say it's not as good as the ion stock in some parts, and better in others.  The reg is alright, just needs to be broken in, which may take a case or 2, the barrel is good, just get big bore paint, the trigger is awesome compared to the Ion, the eyes are awesome (if you do get pds) but with the eyes on, it slows down things a lot, you might just want a halo, and when you really need to shoot fast, turn your eyes off, the bolt is great and doesn't need to be replaced, the only problem is, it doesn't come with an asa, so you have to get your own, but it's pretty cheap.

I think they are both equally good, it's just preference. Try shooting them both before you decide.

im in the same boat as u; i dont kno which gun to get outta the two, but im leaning towards the ion because its newer (which means more upgrades in the near future) and because its more compact.  if you've ever held either the b2k4 is skinny and tall and annoyed me somewat, but the ion was small and more natural feeling. so i think its mainly preference because they are both awesome guns and both can be upgraded mad

I'd take the ion over the b2k4, but its mainly preference.

If you wanna chip in a little more money, Promaster, but if not I like both. Try to shoot each and see what you like better.

Please for the love of god don't get a flatline.
