Its best to use High Pressure air, if thats the question.
If not, I think the Ion runs on about 250psi. |

yes ions run around 2-3 hundred psi so you could use a lp tank but it is said that some lp tanks get some minor drop off and if you get a different gun that requires high pressure you can use the same tank

My Ion runs at a pressure of 150psi. That is because I have upgrades that help lower the pressure.

SP-8 = Ion Stock SP-8's run at around 180 psi, ergo Stock Ions run at 180 psi. |

from what I've seen some stock Ions are running as low as 140 psi.

Still, get a HPA tank, prevents drop-off. |

I can't even say for sure why he wants to know if it's high or low pressure and actually he hasen't even received a direct answer yet. The Ion is low pressure.
