Just wondering before I buy one. Are mags gas hogs? They run at a fairly high pressure and I was wondering if they get les shots per tank then a CVX valve on a tippmann.

Yes mags can be gas hogs. If u get an RT pro and an ajustable tank, a gas hog is a good thing.

Mags run at 850 psi great. The higher the pressure though, the more reactive the sear resets the trigger.(on a RT pro)

In stock configuration (not RT), with a regular tank, my Mag gets slightly better gas mileage than my Tippmann, but nowhere near the efficiency of a cocker.  Reports vary.
