I play both woods and speed with my one setup. I don't need a special stock and a scope to be able to hit my target. I may not be a pro, but I can whomp on most people in both settings with the same exact gun and setup.

If you wanted to go for a realistic look, then that's all good. But to run around and have a good time, all that stuff is worthless. Sure, it may be functional, but just like a 9000 pound winch hooked up to the front of a Geo Metro, it may be functional, but completly unnecessary.

I agree some of the stuff i put on are for looks... and sometimes i play without the scope... it takes a minute to change my setup to whatever game i'm playing.  I wanted to show the full setup, so thats what i posted.  As far as function goes, your right I don't need all that to play, all i really need is a stock a-5, but how original would that be.  If it makes you happy I can post a picture of my a-5 without all the up's.

if i had to vote it would be for the 98 but mine is nicer than that thing and its sitting in the closet. i like woodsball but all that tactical marker **edited** is **edited**. do really need a scope ? the wind and temp control the balls more than you do.
