    Posted: 28 July 2010 at 9:00pm
hi, im a noob to the forum and to paint ball, but a few years ago i bought a model 98 cause i liked the paint job ( i was a kid at the time) and now im getting back into the game, so i wanna kno if its even possible to mod or buy a E-trigger for my gun so i can be full auto and have 3 round burst settings, also i wanna know about upgrading anything to make it more acurate cause when i shoot the ball kinda spirals in the air, my concept is to have a single fire/auto/3 round burst gun with a red dot sight and a 12" barrel (idk what one tho) , so any info or tips would greatly appreciated.
thanks

I suggest starting by reading the "Paintball 101" thread in the New Player's section.

If it is a Model 98 with the fixed trigger guard, your options for electronic triggers is limited essentially to the use on an E-bolt, which has been dicontinued for several years now. You might be better off, just keeping it as a  back up and getting something newer if you are into upgrades.

As the saying goes, I am sure anything is possible, but why bother/ You can pick up a used 98C usually for around $50-75. Heck if you look around hard enough, you can find a used one with an E-grip for $120 or so. E-grips alone are around $100.
