just curious, lots of people say do not go over 12" for a barrel, i have a 14" J+J at the min, if i changed to a 12" J+J, would i notice much increase in velocity without adjusting anything on the gun, purely just by losing 2 inches of friction. Thanks |

No need to do it. 14 inches is good. I prefer 12" because it is easier to move around with. When I played with an A1, my friend only had a 16" barrel and that thing was way too long for the way I play. If you are happy with the 14", stick with it. If you are looking for something a little shorter just to move around better, go for the 12". If you really want to switch, try to trade, but I wouldn't say go buy the same barrel with 2" cut off.
