Ok, I have a question.  I just got word that I will be working for the Paintball field in my profile and I wanted to maybe get some shooting time in on a day off.  Trouble is My 98c has been sitting a couple years and has never been fired.  I am wondering if i need to do anything with the seals.  The internals for the marker are in excelent condition, barrel is dirty and thats about it.  Any thoughts?

Just oil it and test it out.

having said this I assume you have taken the marker apart, so you shoud be able to put a couple of drops of oil in the ASA and on the rear spring and the rear bolt o-ring and the front bolt o-ring and be good to go.

that is my opinion anyway. you can wait for a second opinion if you like.

Yes i have taken it apart, though if i were to go further than taking the housing off, i would have problems getting it back together.  I will be going in for training as a ref on sunday so i will talk to my boss about it as well and maybe get it cleaned and oiled at the same time.
