Ok, I have a question. I just got word that I will be working for the Paintball field in my profile and I wanted to maybe get some shooting time in on a day off. Trouble is My 98c has been sitting a couple years and has never been fired. I am wondering if i need to do anything with the seals. The internals for the marker are in excelent condition, barrel is dirty and thats about it. Any thoughts?

having said this I assume you have taken the marker apart, so you shoud be able to put a couple of drops of oil in the ASA and on the rear spring and the rear bolt o-ring and the front bolt o-ring and be good to go. that is my opinion anyway. you can wait for a second opinion if you like. ![]() |

Yes i have taken it apart, though if i were to go further than taking the housing off, i would have problems getting it back together. I will be going in for training as a ref on sunday so i will talk to my boss about it as well and maybe get it cleaned and oiled at the same time.
