The cocking rod isn't supposed to come out of the hammer...unless you are adjusting the velocity. Anyway, you may have cross-threaded it and if you have...chop it off, get a new hammer and cocking rod. Try some oil.

Heating causes the metal to expand. So if you can heat it long enough so that the outside expands and the threads on the rod don't expand, then it may be easier to get out.

Take off the back block if you can...and buy new parts.

I'd say you're better off to just buy new parts. I wouldn't risk messing the gun up more.

you might of cross threaded it or over tightend, did you use a tool to put your cocking rod in?

WD-40 will mess it up

take it to a proshop or airsmith

As these guys have said u probabally cross threaded it. My cocking rod would unscrew when i shot it, i pulled it out the threads were messed up. so i got a new one, it works now.
