So, as you all know, I'm getting buried in self-imposed projects. I've got $50. What do you think I should work on/finish? - Rainmaker: Not entirely in working order, as far as I know (little time to test it) Would be getting a regulator/frame for it. - <???> 98c: Hybrid knows this one. Still milling, would be getting a battery for it, with 'noid. Need ram 2 wayed. - Pump Spyder: Entire project shouldn't cost more than the $50 I've got. Most of it is home done. Biggest cost would be getting a Spyder. Edited by DeTrevni - 10 March 2007 at 7:49pm |

Rainmaker would be nice...but could cost more than 50... The spyder pump might be interesting...I would almost suggest that one And the tippmann is just kinda silly :-P But it could be cool, but are you really gonna use it?lol |

If you knew what I was doing to that Tippy, you'd eat your shoe. I could get a 90* Evolve Matrix frame for $30 for the Rainmaker, and I don't actually need a reg. I could ghetto rig the frame to the RM with a washer. Mounting the 'noid would be the problem. |

:-) Well...Milling...and getting a 2 way bolt...You could make a cool looking gun that would shoot both ways at the flip of a switch...or you could shoot yourself in the foot lol |

Gah... tough choice. Obviously I'm biased towards the second one, but if you're gonna spend 50 bucks only you might as well finish a project with it. Do the spyder. |

Ahh in the post that you were sort of dissing people for spamming you said that you had been here a long time ago and you have been looking around here for the past 2 years. I figured with that much time under your belt you'd know that a two way ram doesn't make the gun shoot both ways. |

...lol Well, to correct, I said I havn't been here in 2 years or so...And honestly I'm a little out of the loop, and clearly have no Idea what a 2-way bolt is, but I was making a joke about it being a blot with 2 sides capable of shooting 2 different ways, which would be interesting...but I digress, I was in no way "dissing" people, I was just saying that in the observations I've made, it still looks like post count seems to very important and some people seem to like to spam But in the 2 year gap, I pretty much did nothing with paintball, so I really am out of the loop of terms and the new technology lol |

Ohhhhhhhhhh....That makes more sense...still not sure what it does...but 2-way bolt sounds kinda cool lol, maybe we should look into that Anyway, what would go into making a spyder into a pump? |

Well, now the 'cocker is my main, but due to some, er, limitations I can't tinker with that right now. The Spyder pump would take some JB Weld to fill in the blow-back port in the valve pin, dremel the bolt, make a pump handle (PVC, but I can make it less ghetto by using a Phantom pump), pump rod (hangar, or for better results, purchased metal rods). I can ghetto it, or go all out. Either way, I can make it work and look good. |

You could get the Matrix frame and an Evil Detonator for right around $50 for your RM. I still want to know what's going on with the 98c, so I'm voting for that. |

O' GOD! I now have $100ish and really want a 1/2 block cocker (despite the sig...). I'm adding that to the list of projects to choose from. Bodies are cheap, and dremels are plentiful. Edited by DeTrevni - 18 March 2007 at 4:29am |
