Well here it is, specs are in my sig. Just to clarify, the A5 Flat-top rail is attached to the 45 degree 3/8" dovetail on the Lapco offset.

Questions? Comments?

ammolord: I absolutely love it. I didn't really think I'd notice, but my brother got it for me for my birthday in 06 and man, the thing is awesome. I didn't think something so minor could improve consistency, but it actually did (though barely). More than anything else, its nice to have something keeping the marker clean, and no moving parts outside.

sinisterNorth: I'm thinking about a palmers direct (screws into the valve), just cause I don't want to have to get the VA like I would for any other reg (that I know of). No firepower upgrades though, while I'm hardly the 1337 5n1p0r player, I'm all about accuracy, and have no need for the ROF.

Thanks for the comments both of you

It hasn't had to take a direct hit yet, but it feels like it could. The lens might not, but the body certainly can. The lens also seems like it could, but I don't want to put that to the test.

As for nature, it's fairly well waterproofed

gun looks interesting (witch is good), the worst thing could happen, is that the lens might just pop out.

I've heard horror stories of the lens cracking with a direct hit. But I'm not worried. For every one that does break with a direct hit, I've no doubt that many, many more take the hit no problem. And if it does break, it cost me $60 or so. So its not such a major loss that I can't just get a different sight with a more durable lens. I like this sight so much better than the others I tried that I'm willing to take the chance. There's no point in a durable sight if I can't use it well.

ammolord: $60 is a lot for me too, but its something I figured would be worth it. The cheaper ones I tried felt really uncomfortable to use. The cheap reflex I tried was lousy, I could barely see the dot and it wasn't adjustable. and I can't stand tube sights for some reason.

pbdude: thanks!
