Maybe he didn't buy it as a CPro, which means it would cost a little more to mod.  Plus, no one has mentioned tax or shipping if he doesn't have a good shop near him.  And the way I read the title was, jeez I paid $650 for all of this and it doesn't really look like it, does it?  (I've dropped $2K in 6 months and I have to keep adding everything up to figure out where it all went.)  Which leads to the joke, T-650, that I laughed out loud at.

Reminds me of my recent trip to Disney when I ran back to a store to buy a $12 hat before it closed and dropped my $100 video camera battery on hard tile which destroyed it.  I now call it my $112 hat.

And to those saying, "you could've bought" this or that, sure, but it's a whole lot easier to by parts one by one then to save it all up for one purchase.  If it's his first gun and it takes him 6 months to save up $650 (a wild guess), that means he has to wait 6 months longer to even own a gun.

Also, anyone else notice it's his first post?  Can we cut him just a little slack please?
