Hello,
I Have a tippman 98 custom, It has a A.P.E. rampage board in it and for some reason when i fire some times itll decock itself, but the hammer doesnt go all the way foward. it only moves abour 2cm foward and it looks like its cocked but i have to pull it back to recock it so i can fire again. I replaced the front bolt so far. i dont know what else to do. can anyone help me? |

I'm going to
assume this only happens when shooting paintballs. What happens is that your 98
is shooting faster than your loader can feed. A paintball is getting caught between the
front bolt & receiver. Then when you pull back on the cocking handle the
ball drops into the breach & is ready to fire. You either need to slow the
rate of fire or get a faster loader. |
