Well, I got bored yesterday so I made myself a ghost ring for my SL-68 II (thanks to pmicka's guide on PhOG). I figured I'd post the gun since I haven't done so in awhile. She is now my primary gun as the Sniper II is up for sale(no, not here). I'm planning on picking up as many spare parts as I can find so that in the rare case she borks, I'll be ready. I really want to find a CAR stock for it like EE(?) had...I just couldn't get to his in time.

SPECS:
14" JJ Ceramic
custom ghost ring
custom 10rd feed tube -OR- hopper adapter + 50rd hopper

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

They're very easy to make. Took me less than 15 minutes to cut, sand, fit, and drill the pipe. 1 coat of primer and 2 coats of paint. About an hour total.

Here's the guide I used.

I just bought a Kapp Angel threaded high-rise and it fits perfectly as an adapter.

I now own the CAR-stocked SL-68II. I tossed on my ADCO sure shot, and have yet to get a 4oz tank. Last time I shot it it began slam-firing, and I wrecked my last o-ring so it'll be a while before I figure out what's going on. I like the 10-round tube. Is the post on the ghost-ring zeroed to the front sight? Did it take much adjustment?

The post is slightly off as I just eye-balled the alignment. It works great though.

EDIT: Should you ever decide to part with that SL, contact me.

rednekk that's the Picasso suicide trigger job. I told you it was wicked light. I used to slam fire it to gun my way out fights with that thing. It's a fun gun once you get used to how light the trigger is. But you can definitely trigger fire it.

You know, when shouldering my 9oz, I can use the sites perfectly. I have contemplated buying a T-stock, but I know I would never use it.

lol then I say stick with that.  I only suggested it since you were looking into a CAR stock.  It wont give you nearly the sight up that the 9oz being shouldered would though.
