first for the question about my 98 custom... Whenever i shoot my 98c it sounds like there is an echo in the co2 tank, does anyone know what is causing this, i have no upgrades on it, just the plain stock 98c, with a full co2 tank, nothing vibrating in side either, and it still echoes when i have the barrel off... now for the questions about my a5... i am sometimes having to recock my a5...i dont know whats causing that either, i have an expansion chamber, egrip, and flatline as upgrades, i have a brand new battery in the egrip and the sear is fine, and i have also shot it with a full co2 tank, opinions please? next question, i put my co2 tank on and use it for the amount of time that i do, then i take it off and sometimes flakes of co2 come flying out of it and sometimes its like the co2 tank sounds like it has been shot off, like a lot of force pushing the tank off...anybody know what is happening there? i put the same tank on my 98c and take it off and it DOESNT pop off like on the A5... thanks for all you help guys... That is normal with Co2, if you want the flakes to stop, buy a Palmers Stabilizer. This is like a filter which siphones out the liquid Co2, and only air goes through it, and it makes your shots more consistant, along with no more flakes. As for the tank being forced off, that is also normal i believe, just screw off the tank faster, and also, when screwing of Co2 (or anything that is gas and pressurised) make sure everything is turning when unscrewing it, or else it might be the last thing you ever do......... No problem, thats what we're here for (except flamers) |

The first thing is simply your sear spring. The quick action of releasing the bolt and recocking the bolt causes that "ping" sound. You can silence it here- http://model98.net/mod7.html The recocking problem on the A-5 may be caused by a worn rear bolt. Observe the part the sear catches and check for wear. |
