I currently have the stock hopper on my 98c. I sucks because I have to shake it around a bit. So should I get cyclone, halob, or q loader. Money is not an issue.

None of them. Get an egg. A q loader is a POS. and cyclone is for a5s, and a halo is ridiculously excessive for a 98. Get an egg, i've had mine for almost 2 years now and it's never gone bad on me, and i've been able to take it from my piranha, to my autococker, to my shocker. It's a very universal loader and will last you a long time, though several guns.

cyclone is not just for the A-5, you can put it on a 98C. I rather have the cyclone than any other hopper.

I like my cyclone. Not batteries to change.

if you are going to center feed the gun, then get a halo b, if not use the cyclone, q-loader is a pain to keep working.

I forgot about that 98 cyclone, thanks for reminding me.

What I'm trying to say is while a cyclone IS good, it's big, it's bulky, and it kills air a lot faster than it would if you got an electro hopper. Same thing goes for a q loader: While it won't kill in air efficiency it will more than make up for in bulkiness and difficulty of loading. Both feed fast, and are logical choices for this reason, but the drawbacks of the two are far more important than just "it's gud an i liek it".;p

I chose to talk about the eggy because it's the best universal hopper. It's unrealistic to mod your 98 for a cyclone or to get a q loader because if you want to take it speedballing you'll have it sticking out of the bunker, and people will have a field day with it all session long. As previously stated the cyclone will also kill your efficiency down from what it is now. While this isn't a HUGE deal, it's still a pain in the rear to have to fill it that much more just because you needed a certain load system thats unrealistic in the first place. The q loader creates a huge profile, no matter what QL proponents will say, I can't begin to count how many times I've nailed guys on the loader while they were leaning out of bunkers, just because it's simply too big.

The egg has a small profile, is built in a round shell to decrease the amount of breaks, and you can find it for very cheap on ebay.

In the end it's your call, I just like the egg because of the functionality of it, and it will last you through several guns to come as long as you don't superman into a concrete snake.

EDIT***
kurieitaa is right about the centerfeeding, although you should get it done anyway to make the gun smaller. The only problem I have with Halos is they're hard on paint, and can sometimes lead to breakage in the chamber or barrel, even if you have eyes. I have a buddy that used to run a halo on his shocker and his destroyed paint on a regular basis. That's just one halo though, there was probably something wrong with it...hah.

WTH are you talking about RD? The Cyclone does not kill air efficiency as it works off of blowback. Also, it is a bolt on. Yes, you may have to take the marker apart to change the powertube, but other than that, you attach it using the same attachment point as the stock feed neck, screw the air fitting in and attach the hose. It takes all of 5-10 minutes to install. Here is a link for one on Ebay:

have you thought about the torque? they are very fast, reliable, and probably the toughest loader I have seen In a very long time. Its qualities resemble the tippmann company so I figure theyd be a great match.

You could have at least spelled it correctly.  Better yet, just put a copy of the link to the site here.

id go with the cyclone if you only have a 98 and only plan on getting a 98 for now on i have a cyclone feed myself that i modded so it cost about as much as an electric hopper but i cant take it gun to gun or centerfeed it other that that its great even with my w.a.s. board on turbo

tippmann 98e ACT

flatline
cyclone feed
aluminum cyclone internals
w.a.s. board
double trigger
expansion chamber
jcs power tube
starfire bolt

I myself would get a centerfeed kit and an electronic hopper(there are so many different ones with variations out there).  You can then take the hopper to your next gun.
