Lol, yeah, thats the fun part. I can let lose and cruse at about 135 and stay pretty steady.

We had a few, 5 at one point. Now we are down to 2 or 3. I haven't rode them in so long. Our newest is I think a 540 from 97 I think. The previous owner had work done to it, and the Yamaha tech said it'd keep up with newere ones till 90-95 MPH.

Honestly, the 540 is kinda scary. We have a large open area and you can be going very fast a 1/4 through. The whole feeling like floating is the scary part. Hit a rut and the whole sled goes that way. I've actually rolled off of one before, thankfully it righted itself and kept going instead of rolling over me. I enjoy the 4 wheelers more.

I live on a main street and my dad use to race the traffic from a red light at the corner. He would win quite a few times up till our house then the cars out run it. He stopped when he went off a snow pile made by a plow and it started to rotate in the air and he put his foot down trying to stop it...he ended up rolling his foot and hurting his leg. That was the end of that, haha.

Yep, right on State Road he would race, haha. Even drive up to the gas station if there was enough snow.

They are simply too much fun, I should try to get out on one while I'm home. Insane acceleration too
