When i was watching a game of woodsball i saw this guy throw a paint grenade at this group of people but nothing happened to them, i mean they didnt have to go out. So is there really a point of even having paint grenandes in a game? someone tell me what they're for because i have no idea.

Well did they get sprayed with the paint?
I think by most people's rules they would have had to go out. Otherwise it's just an expensive distraction. |

well give us a link for the video. that will help us a lot more. and there is no reason for him to stop posting. most of his posts help other people on the forum or ask other people on the forum to help him. just because he does it a lot doesnt mean he should stop. |

no to mention blue text to boot. as an answer to your question, paint grenades are useless and alot of fields dont allow them. the are usually only used in scenario games. plus they have a bad habit of not going off. if those people in the video got sprayed with paint they should be out. |

Yea any paint from a paint grenade usually counts as an elimination. The thing is they usually do not work, and if they do work (with people gettung hit) the people generally do not go out. They either do not know what happened, understand the rules regarding grenades, or notice that they got hit (as there is not the impact of a paintball to draw attention to the hit). Alot of refs from my experience don't even try to enforce paint grenade rules. They are a complete waste, unless you are playing some games with a private group/ friends. |

yah well people are usualy looking at whats changing colour at the other side of there barrel, and they only go out when they feel the pain from a hit, granades can most often be passed off as a spray from paint. i used granades 2 times and i managed to get people out because bouncing betties need to hit a solid surface and the noise gets people to notice they are out, hope this helps
