well, they so help keep your gun steadier for aiming, but mostly there for a military look.  go to www.pbreview.com and go to specific marker accessories click what ever gun you have and look at all the stocks.  the best ones are the M4 commando and the Solid sniperstock.  well those are the best rated atleast.

Do to your gun what pleases you. Remember, it's YOUR gun. To be
honest, a stock will not make you a better player nor will it really improve
your aim or gun...but it will make it look and feel better!!! It's all part of
the scenario.

a stock is for aiming and to hold the gun steady against you're shoulder from the recoil. a paintball gun doesnt have recoil like real assault rifles do.  it does seem to help MY aiming.  and they do look really cool too.  Like nauzerlvr says its your gun do what you want with it.  who cares what other people think of it.

Don't ever listen to reviews from pbreview.com, they are some of the most inaccurate, noobish reviews I've ever seen.

buy a mag at a gun shop, some sheet metal, a few screws, and make one. you all can save yourself lotsa cash if you make stuff yourself. trust me.

Oh, now that i see your Sig, flatlines are fantastic. but you have the 98. that's why.
